We offer a range of specialist clinical procedures at the surgery to support your health and wellbeing. These services include Minor Surgery, Contraceptive Device fittings, Cryotherapy (freeze treatment), Ear irrigation, and Joint injections.

Minor Surgery
We offer minor surgical procedures for conditions such as:

Skin tags

Cysts

Lipomas

Other small lesions

Nasal Cautery
- Haemorrhoid treatment by banding or injection
- Removal of foreign bodies
- Removal/Partial removal of toe nails
A GP will assess your condition and, if suitable, add you to our minor surgery clinic.

Coil & Implant Fitting (Long-Acting Reversible Contraception)
If you are considering a Coil (IUD/IUS) or Contraceptive Implant (Nexplanon), your first step is to book a GP appointment for contraception advice. During this consultation, your GP will:

Discuss your options

Review your medical history

Help you choose the most suitable method
Once agreed, you will be added to our clinic list for fitting.
After the device has been fitted:

Future renewals or removals can be booked via a self-booking link (sent by text), or

You can call the practice at any time to arrange an appointment when it's due
Cryotherapy (Freeze Treatment)
Cryotherapy is used to remove certain skin lesions by freezing them with liquid nitrogen. This treatment may be suitable for:

Warts

Verrucae
-
Skin tags
Your GP will examine the lesion(s) and confirm if cryotherapy is appropriate before booking.

Ear Irrigation
Ear irrigation helps to safely remove excess earwax that may be affecting your hearing or causing discomfort.
Before booking:

Use ear drops for 5–7 days to soften the wax

A GP or nurse will check your ears to ensure irrigation is necessary and safe

Joint Injections
Joint injections can help manage:

Mobility issues, often due to arthritis or injury
These injections typically contain steroids or other medications. A GP will assess your symptoms and confirm whether a joint injection is appropriate.
